Job Vacancy – KCA National Men¡¯s and Women¡¯s Teams

 

 

The Korea Cricket Association (KCA) is the governing body of cricket in Korea at all levels of the game. The KCA is an Affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC-EAP).

The KCA is seeking to appoint a full-time coaching staffs for both Men¡¯s and Women¡¯s National teams, initially on a fixed-term, 9 month contract.

The position will be started from March to November 2017, the Coaches will be based at the Yeonhui Cricket Ground and will responsible for managing and coaching for the both National teams to compete in the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • A recognized Level 2 ICC, ACC cricket coaching qualification or equivalent

  • In case of Korean, 'Professional Sports Qualification'(KSOC accreditation) is required(Àü¹®½ºÆ÷Ã÷Áöµµ»ç ÀÚ°ÝÁõ)

  • A suitable qualification in sport science

  • A minimum 5 years` experience of cricket coaching

  • A track record of success in developing winning teams as a coach at first class or international level

  • International playing experience preferred ICC, ACC level

  • Fluent in written and spoken English with excellent verbal and written English including the use of MS Office/Excel and its applications

  • Strong understanding of theoretical and practical cricket issues including familiarity with ICC and ACC rules

  • Special knowledge and experience of High Performance Athletes

  • Good understanding of player development and team management

     

Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong united team spirit amongst the players in the National Teams

  • Develop close relations and communication with coaches, support staff and board members

  • Coordinate regularly with player, team and reporting weekly and monthly to KCA
